Disclaimer
What is on this site is a description of a practice, not advice and not a promise. This page says plainly what you can and cannot rely on.
General information only
The content of careva.uk is general information about what we do and how we work. It is not professional advice on your situation, and it should not be acted on as though it were.
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, regulatory or employment advice. Where a communications problem is also a legal one — and they often are — you need a lawyer as well, and we will say so.
No client relationship
Reading this site, or sending an enquiry through it, does not make you a client of Careva and does not oblige us to act. An engagement begins only when a written scope is agreed by both sides, as set out in the Terms of Service.
Please do not send confidential or commercially sensitive material through the enquiry form before an engagement exists. A paragraph describing the situation in general terms is enough to start.
No guaranteed outcomes
We do not guarantee press coverage, the placement of any particular piece, the tone of what is published, or any commercial or reputational outcome. Editorial decisions are made by editors and journalists, who are not ours to direct.
This is why the site carries no coverage statistics, no client list and no testimonials: we would rather show none than publish figures that imply a guarantee we cannot give. Any such material added in future will be published with permission and will be accurate.
Accuracy and currency
We take reasonable care that the information here is accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete or free of error, and we may change how we describe the practice without notice.
Descriptions of our fee structures and ways of working are indicative. What governs an engagement is the written scope, not this website.
External links
Where we link to another site — a regulator, a guideline, a published piece — we do not control it and are not responsible for its content or availability. A link is not an endorsement of everything at the other end of it.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on the content of this website. Liability arising from an engagement is dealt with in the Terms of Service.
Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Recruitment fraud
We never ask a candidate for a payment or for bank details during hiring. Our recruitment correspondence comes only from an address ending @careva.uk. If you receive something purporting to be from us that does either, it is not from us — please report it to hello@careva.uk.
